In our regional and nationwide rankings, out-of-state tution and fees are used in our calculations. For statewide rankings, we use average in-state tuition and fees.

Our analysis found St Petersburg College to be the best value school for public health students who want to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Florida. SPC is a very large public school located in the large city of Clearwater.

In-state tuition fees for undergraduate students at SPC are $2,682 per year. The average amount in student loans that public health majors at SPC take out while working on their Bachelor's Degree is $33,785.

Gainesville, FL

Out of the 16 schools in Florida that were part of this year’s ranking, University of Florida-Online landed the # 2 spot on the list. Located in the midsize city of Gainesville, UF Online is a public college with a medium-sized student population.

In-state tuition fees for undergraduate students at UF Online are $3,876 per year. After completing their Bachelor's Degree, public health graduates from UF Online carry an average student debtload of $19,060. When it comes time to repay the loan, graduates who are on a 10-year repayment plan pay an average monthly payment of $248.

Gainesville, FL

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Florida. It ranked #4 on our 2023 Best Value Public Health Bachelor’s Degree Schools in Florida list. UF is a fairly large public school located in the city of Gainesville.

UF undergraduate students pay an average of $6,381 in in-state tuition and fees each year. On average, public health graduates from UF take out $19,060 in student loans while working on their Bachelor's Degree. When it comes time to repay the loan, graduates who are on a 10-year repayment plan pay an average monthly payment of $248.

Florida State University landed the #6 spot in the 2023 rankings for the best value bachelor’s degree public health programs. Located in the city of Tallahassee, Florida State is a public school with a very large student population.

Florida State undergraduate students pay an average of $6,517 in in-state tuition and fees each year.
