Our 2023 rankings named University of Massachusetts Amherst the most popular school in the New England Region for public health students working on their bachelor’s degree. Located in the large suburb of Amherst, UMass Amherst is a public school with a very large student population.

Of the 292 students majoring in public health at UMass Amherst, 16% are male and 84% are female.

The average amount in student loans that public health majors at UMass Amherst take out while working on their Bachelor's Degree is $23,809. The average monthly payment of a loan this size is about $165, assuming that the borrower is on a 10-year repayment plan.
