Our analysis found The College of Saint Scholastica to be the best school for healthcare students who want to pursue a doctor’s degree in Minnesota.
One thing to take note of is that St. Scholastica does offer online graduate classes in some areas. Of all the graduate students enrolled at the school during the 2019-2020 academic year, around 50% took at least some of their classes online.
Out of the 11 schools in Minnesota that were part of this year’s ranking, St Catherine University landed the # 2 spot on the list.

If you are interested in distance education, be sure to check with the school since UMN Twin Cities does offer online graduate classes for certain majors. To give an idea of how popular online courses are at the school, 65% of graduates took at least one course online in 2019-2020.
With a ranking of #6, Minnesota State University - Mankato did quite well on this year’s best schools for healthcare students working on their doctor’s degree.

Bethel University Minnesota ranked #7 on this year’s Best Healthcare Doctor’s Degree Schools in Minnesota list.
Bethel University Minnesota does offer online graduate classes for certain degree levels. During the 2019-2020 year, about 79% of the graduate students at the school took at least one online course.
Capella University did quite well in this year’s ranking of the best places for healthcare students to get a doctor’s degree. It came in at #9 on the list.
Since the graduate programs at Capella University are primarily online school, so it is a great choice for returning adults and students who work full time.
Concordia University, Saint Paul came in at #10 in this year’s edition of the Best Healthcare Doctor’s Degree Schools in Minnesota ranking.
Some students may be able to take online graduate classes at Concordia University, Saint Paul. During the 2019-2020 year, about 94% of the graduate students at the school took at least one online course.
Metropolitan State University did quite well in this year’s ranking of the best places for healthcare students to get a doctor’s degree. It came in at #11 on the list.
Metro State does have options available for those who want to take online graduate classes. You will need to check with the school to see if they are available for your specific major. To give an idea of how popular online courses are at the school, 85% of graduates took at least one course online in 2019-2020.
