Our analysis found Yale University to be the best school for healthcare students who want to pursue a master’s degree in Connecticut.
If you are interested in distance education, be sure to check with the school since Yale does offer online graduate classes for certain majors. In 2019-2020 about 98% of the graduate students at the school chose to take one or more online courses.
You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Quinnipiac University. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Best Healthcare Master’s Degree Schools in Connecticut list.
One thing to take note of is that Quinnipiac does offer online graduate classes in some areas. To give an idea of how popular online courses are at the school, 52% of graduates took at least one course online in 2019-2020.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Sacred Heart University. It ranked #4 on our 2023 Best Healthcare Master’s Degree Schools in Connecticut list.

Out of the 13 schools in Connecticut that were part of this year’s ranking, University of Connecticut landed the # 5 spot on the list.
UCONN does offer online graduate classes for certain degree levels. In 2019-2020 about 74% of the graduate students at the school chose to take one or more online courses.
University of Bridgeport landed the #6 spot in the 2023 rankings for the best master’s degree healthcare programs.
UBridgeport does have options available for those who want to take online graduate classes. You will need to check with the school to see if they are available for your specific major. In 2019-2020 about 53% of the graduate students at the school chose to take one or more online courses.
Central Connecticut State University did quite well in this year’s ranking of the best places for healthcare students to get a master’s degree. It came in at #7 on the list.
One thing to take note of is that CCSU does offer online graduate classes in some areas. Of all the graduate students enrolled at the school during the 2019-2020 academic year, around 95% took at least some of their classes online.
University of Saint Joseph landed the #8 spot in the 2023 rankings for the best master’s degree healthcare programs.
USJ does offer online graduate classes for certain degree levels. In fact, around 21% of the graduate population registered for at least one online class in 2019-2020.
With a ranking of #9, University of Hartford did quite well on this year’s best schools for healthcare students working on their master’s degree.
Depending on your major, you may be able to take online graduate classes at UHart. In 2019-2020 about 67% of the graduate students at the school chose to take one or more online courses.
With a ranking of #10, University of New Haven did quite well on this year’s best schools for healthcare students working on their master’s degree.
One thing to take note of is that University of New Haven does offer online graduate classes in some areas. During the 2019-2020 year, about 39% of the graduate students at the school took at least one online course.
Southern Connecticut State University came in at #11 in this year’s edition of the Best Healthcare Master’s Degree Schools in Connecticut ranking.
One thing to take note of is that SCSU does offer online graduate classes in some areas. To give an idea of how popular online courses are at the school, 93% of graduates took at least one course online in 2019-2020.
Western Connecticut State University did quite well in this year’s ranking of the best places for healthcare students to get a master’s degree. It came in at #12 on the list.
Some students may be able to take online graduate classes at WestConn. In 2019-2020 about 92% of the graduate students at the school chose to take one or more online courses.
Albertus Magnus College ranked #13 on this year’s Best Healthcare Master’s Degree Schools in Connecticut list.
Online graduate courses are available at Albertus Magnus, but you will need to check with the school to see if they are available for your field of interest. To give an idea of how popular online courses are at the school, 48% of graduates took at least one course online in 2019-2020.
