This report analyzed 11 schools in Nevada to see which ones were the most popular bachelor's degree programs for healthcare students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from each school on the list.

Our 2023 rankings named University of Nevada - Reno the most popular school in Nevada for healthcare students working on their bachelor’s degree. UNR is a large public school situated in Reno, Nevada. It awarded 602 bachelor’s degrees in 2020-2021.
The average in-state tuition and fees for students at UNR is $8,737. If you are from out of state, expect to pay an average of $24,827. Bachelor’s Degree recipients from UNR accumulate an average of $20,835 in student debt by the time they complete their degree. Around 77% of those degree recipients were women.
One thing to take note of is that UNR does offer online classes in some areas. In fact, around 26% of the undergraduate population registered for at least one online class in 2019-2020.
A rank of #2 on this year’s list means Nevada State College is a great place for healthcare students working on their bachelor’s degree. Nevada State College is a medium-sized public school located in Henderson, Nevada that handed out 373 bachelor’s degrees in 2020-2021.
The average in-state tuition and fees for students at NSC is $6,075. Out-of-state students pay an average of $19,440. Bachelor’s Degree recipients from NSC accumulate an average of $28,936 in student debt by the time they complete their degree. Of those students who received their degree, 83% were women.
Online courses are available at NSC, but you will need to check with the school to see if they are available for your field of interest. During the 2019-2020 year, about 40% of the undergraduates at the school took at least one online course.
You’ll be in good company if you attend University of Nevada - Las Vegas. The school came in at #3 on this year’s Most Popular Healthcare Bachelor’s Degree Schools in Nevada list. UNLV is a public institution located in Las Vegas, Nevada. The school has a large population, and it awarded 323 bachelor’s degrees in 2020-2021.
In-state students pay an average of $8,737 in tuition and fees if they attend UNLV full time. Those students who come from outside the state pay an average of $24,828. Bachelor’s Degree recipients from UNLV accumulate an average of $23,884 in student debt by the time they complete their degree. Of those students who received their degree, 74% were women.

The excellent bachelor’s degree programs at Roseman University of Health Sciences helped the school earn the #4 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular healthcare schools in Nevada. Roseman University of Health Sciences is located in Henderson, Nevada and has a small student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 287 bachelor’s degrees to qualified students.
The average tuition and fees at Roseman University of Health Sciences is $39,044. If you want to attend Touro University Nevada, expect to pay an average of $10,050 in tuition and fees. Of course, this could be reduced if you receive financial aid. By the time they get their bachelor’s degree, students from this school have racked up an average of $17,985 in student loans. Of those students who received their degree, 85% were women.
Since Touro University Nevada is primarily an online school, it is an excellent choice for undergraduate students who need more flexibility than what is offered at some other schools.
Great Basin College came in at #8 in this year’s edition of the Most Popular Healthcare Bachelor’s Degree Schools in Nevada ranking. Great Basin College is located in Elko, Nevada and has a small student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 25 bachelor’s degrees to qualified students.
Full-time students from Nevada pay an average of $3,683 in tuition and fees if they choose to attend Great Basin College. Those students who come from outside the state pay an average of $10,399.
