You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Hunter Business School. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Popular Healthcare Basic Certificate Schools in the Middle Atlantic Region list. Levittown, New York is the setting for this small institution of higher learning. The private for-profit school handed out basic certificates to 331 students in 2020-2021.

With a ranking of #9, Dawn Career Institute LLC did quite well on this year’s most popular schools for healthcare students working on their basic certificate. Dawn Career Institute is a very small private for-profit school situated in Wilmington, Delaware. It awarded 103 basic certificates in 2020-2021.
Of those students who received their degree, 94% were women.
Dawn Career Institute does offer online classes for certain degree levels. To give an idea of how popular online courses are at the school, 90% of undergraduates took at least one course online in 2019-2020.
Community College of Allegheny County came in at #10 in this year’s edition of the Most Popular Healthcare Basic Certificate Schools in the Middle Atlantic Region ranking. This fairly large public school is located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and it awarded 99 basic certificates in 2020-2021.
The average in-state tuition and fees for students at CCAC is $8,323. Those students who come from outside the state pay an average of $11,863. Around 87% of those degree recipients were women.
Depending on your major, you may be able to take online classes at CCAC. During the 2019-2020 year, about 48% of the undergraduates at the school took at least one online course.
University of Pittsburgh - Pittsburgh Campus did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular places for healthcare students to get a basic certificate. It came in at #11 on the list. Pitt is a large public school situated in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It awarded 92 basic certificates in 2020-2021.
Full-time students from Pennsylvania pay an average of $20,362 in tuition and fees if they choose to attend Pitt. Out-of-state students pay an average of $35,394. Of those students who received their degree, 78% were women.
Depending on your major, you may be able to take online classes at Pitt. To give an idea of how popular online courses are at the school, 25% of undergraduates took at least one course online in 2019-2020.

With a ranking of #12, Cortiva Institute, Pennsylvania did quite well on this year’s most popular schools for healthcare students working on their basic certificate. Located in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, the very small private for-profit school awarded 90 diplomas to qualifed basic certificate students in 2020-2021.

YTI Career Institute-York came in at #23 in this year’s edition of the Most Popular Healthcare Basic Certificate Schools in the Middle Atlantic Region ranking. Located in York, Pennsylvania, the very small private for-profit school awarded 51 diplomas to qualifed basic certificate students in 2020-2021.
