Our analysis found Capella University to be the most popular school for healthcare students who want to pursue a graduate certificate in the United States. Capella University is a large private for-profit school located in Minneapolis, Minnesota that handed out 764 graduate certificates in 2020-2021.
Around 84% of those degree recipients were women.
Since the graduate programs at Capella University are online, the school is an excellent choice for graduate students who need more flexibility than what is offered at some other schools.
Out of the 720 schools in the United States that were part of this year’s ranking, Johns Hopkins University landed the # 2 spot on the list. Johns Hopkins University is a large private not-for-profit school located in Baltimore, Maryland that handed out 525 graduate certificates in 2020-2021.

A T Still University of Health Sciences came in at #7 in this year’s edition of the Most Popular Healthcare Graduate Certificate Schools ranking. This small private not-for-profit school is located in Kirksville, Missouri, and it awarded 220 graduate certificates in 2020-2021.

Since the graduate programs at A T Still University of Health Sciences are primarily online school, so it is a great choice for returning adults and students who work full time.
With a ranking of #8, University of Maryland - Baltimore did quite well on this year’s most popular schools for healthcare students working on their graduate certificate. University of Maryland - Baltimore is a medium-sized public school located in Baltimore, Maryland that handed out 202 graduate certificates in 2020-2021.
